Yet, despite all that, Super Collapse! 3 actually manages to stay relatively fun and fresh. It's really easy for puzzle games to dip down into the category of mediocrity after all, there are so many puzzle ideas that have been rehashed countless times. This game is great fun! Don't miss out on it!!Īnd I've got to say, I'm quite impressed. At first, I thought that was going to be confusing from being an avid Tetris player, but I have found out that it is quite easy to understand and is so much more helpful when you can't seem to match up the blocks and they are climbing to the top, you can use a bomb and get rid of them all (as long as you have a bomb to use). ![]() The great thing about this game from Tetris is how you can earn or buy bombs to use. You can play the long version of going around to different lands and passing all the challenges to move on to the next land, or if your not in the mood for a long game, you can choose to play quick picks, and there are so many different games in that with different levels. High scores, unlocked power-ups, and other settings are saved directly to the cartridge. This game is so much fun!!! If you like Tetris, you'll "love" this game! I am in my 50's and I have a hard time putting this one down! My daughters and my grandkids love playing it too!! I've had to buy more copies of it so everyone can have a chance to play! There are so many different levels and challanges, so much more interesting than Tetris. Seven different challenges are available in total, including a puzzle variant that involves trying to clear the screen with a limited number of clicks. These coins can then be used to purchase power-ups and other extras, such as helpful bombs to obliterate adjacent blocks. Players will advance across a board in each area, landing on challenge spaces to earn coins. Super Collapse! 3 on DS substitutes the mouse-driven interface with a touch-screen one, allowing players to tap on block combinations using the stylus. The main aspect of play is the quest mode, which features ten themed areas filled with multiple game variants. If the blocks fill the screen, the game ends. ![]() After removing the requisite number of lines, players advance to a new screen with a different layout of blocks. As in the computer version, the object is to quickly click on groups of three or more colored blocks to clear them from the playing field. The Internet's popular block-blasting puzzle series makes its DS debut with Super Collapse! 3. ![]()
